Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. Position available for Special Education Teachers
serving students in Kindergarten through 12th grade across two
locations in North Carolina. The role offers a contract position
for the current school year, focused on delivering inclusive
education and comprehensive support within K-12 settings. Key
Responsibilities: Teach in an inclusive classroom environment,
supporting diverse learners from K-6th grade or 7th-12th grade.
Manage individualized education programs (IEPs), including
facilitating IEP meetings, tracking progress, and maintaining
accurate records. Collaborate with Student Study Teams to identify
students needs and implement effective academic and behavioral
interventions. Monitor student progress and prepare detailed
progress reports to support student growth and compliance with
educational standards. Foster a positive, supportive learning
environment tailored to the unique needs of special education
students. Desired Qualifications: Valid teaching certification with
specialization in Special Education. Experience working with K-6 or
7-12 special education students, with strong skills in case
management and inclusion practices. Ability to conduct and
contribute to IEP meetings and student assessments. Competence in
designing and applying evidence-based interventions and supports.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with
staff, parents, and external providers. Locations: Wake Forest, NC
