Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A skilled
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position
in the Flint Hills region of Kansas, serving a cooperative of
school districts near Emporia, KS. This role supports elementary
school students across multiple locations within approximately an
hour of Emporia, including North Lyon County, South Lyon County,
Chase County, Madison, Hamilton, and Morris County. Key Details:
Location: Multiple sites within Flint Hills Special Education
Cooperative, near Emporia, KS Setting: Elementary schools Job
Duration: Contract through May 20, 2026 Schedule: Flexible,
full-time or part-time options available Onsite requirement: Must
be onsite to provide services Student Caseload: Typically 10-12
students per day; up to 50-55 students weekly Number of Openings: 1
Qualifications and Experience Needed: Valid Kansas Speech-Language
Pathology license Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in
Speech-Language Pathology preferred Experience providing
speech-language services in school settings Ability to manage a
caseload with diverse student needs Strong communication and
collaboration skills to work effectively within a cooperative
environment Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language therapy
services to elementary students with varying needs Develop and
implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student
assessments Collaborate with educators, parents, and other
professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate
documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and
federal guidelines This role offers a flexible schedule and the
