Job Description:
Well-rounded Hospice & Palliative Medicine physician needed.
Ideal candidate will s erve as lead physician and medical director.
Work alongside 2 physicians, 7 advanced practice providers,
registered nurses, social workers, and chaplains. Responsibilities
include outpatient palliative care services, performing and
documenting face to face assessments for hospice certification and
recertification, lead multidisciplinary rounds with the home and
inpatient team, and interface and collaborate with the palliative
care team who provide clinical care to patients.
Compensation includes a generous salary, incentives, relocation,
vacation/CME, benefits, malpractice (w/tail), retirement (401k,
457b) & may include sign-on bonus & student loan assistance.
Area has become the dominant economic, educational & cultural hub
of the region. With just a short drive away you can take advantage
of the famous Outer Banks & Crystal Coast beaches, the Blue Ridge
Mountains & attractions in the Triangle area (Raleigh, Durham &
Chapel Hill).
