As a member of the Health Support Center (HSC) team, you'll support those that are in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members to positively impact our mission of making communities healthier ® . More about our team Join our team in a 19-bed Adult Behavioral Health Unit. Staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Mental Health Technicians, Social Work Therapists, Recreational Therapists and Psychiatric Providers. Our unit treats a variety of diagnoses such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Patients may present with psychosis, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, mania, or exacerbations of mental illness. This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a supportive environment focused on providing quality care and support to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises. How you'll contribute A Registered Nurse (RN), who excels in this role: Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions Crisis Intervention and de-escalation techniques Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record Performs timely and accurate QI assessments Why join us We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. What we're looking for- a compassionate nurse with a deep understanding of critical care principles and advanced patient monitoring. Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a degree from an accredited nursing school.
