Skills/Experience: EKG interpretation and critical thinking skills
Description: Orientation is bi-weekly. This facility has 294 beds
and is Joint Commission Accredited. It offers cancer care, cardiac
care, orthopedics, imaging, surgical services, and more. The
patient population includes adult and geriatric individuals. There
are a total of 22 beds in the unit with a patient ratio of 5:1 or
6:1. Common diagnoses include CHF, CP, ARF, COPD, uncontrolled
diabetes, CKD, and post-cardiac catheter care. The equipment used
includes Welch Allyn V/S machines, Hoyer lifts with weight scales,
Abbott glucometers, Computers on Wheels, TR bands, and Baxter IV
pumps. The electronic health record system is Meditech EMR.
Supervision is provided by the Clinical Staff Lead or Charge Nurse.
Candidates should be team-oriented and flexible. Preferred skills
include discharge and admission management and basic cardiac drip
knowledge. Required education is an associate degree, with a BSN
preferred. Dress code requires appropriate scrubs with no
