Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: EKG interpretation Critical thinking skills Knowledge of critical drips (vasopressors and sedation) titration Description: The position involves providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients. The candidate must demonstrate effective communication and teamwork. Flexibility and adaptability are essential traits for success in this role. Nurses will manage a patient population with various complex diagnoses, including COPD, ARF, DKA, Sepsis, and Shock. The ICU will have a patient ratio of 2:1 for intensive care. Equipment used includes cardiac monitors and IV pumps, among others. Supervision will be provided by clinical staff leads or charge nurses.
