Applicants should have an interest in both academic and community-based oncology practice. New graduates and Visas are encouraged to apply. Highlights include: Close collaboration with the Hematology/Oncology team and direct patient care for Cancer Care locations throughout the eastern region of North Carolina Hospital privileges at a level 1 trauma center, a 974-bed Academic Medical Center Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule with shared call Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities including developing treatment plans for new diagnoses in hematology/oncology patients, chemotherapy oversight, supervising advance practice providers on follow-up patients, and participating in tumor board meetings Participation in a 9-hospital system of cancer care with 5 COC accredited sites sharing a common medical record and planned COC Network status in 2020 Close collaboration with the Cancer Care team, including a multidisciplinary team of specialists such as radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists, gynecologic oncologists, neurological oncologists, hematology/oncology fellows, and patient navigators State-of-the-art equipment including a Gamma Knife, Cyber Knife, Truebeam Linear Accelerators, 3D Mammography, 3 MT MRI, Ultrasound, and a full spectrum of radiology services Benefits: Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefits package including annual administrative stipend, relocation assistance, vacation, sick, and holidays Malpractice coverage (with tail) 401k and 457b retirement plans Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance Seize this opportunity to advance your career in Hematology/Oncology near Beulaville, NC.
