Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical Intensive Care Unit Location: Wilson, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,166 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7A or 7P Hours per Shift: 36 hours Experience: 1.5 years License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: EKG interpretation Critical thinking skills Knowledge of critical drips (vasopressors, sedation) titration knowledge Description: Orientation occurs bi-weekly. The facility has 294 beds and is Joint Commission Accredited. Services include cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, and surgical services. The unit consists of an ICU and IMU with a total of 16 beds. Patient ratios in the ICU are 2:1, and in the IMU, they are 3:1. The tele unit has a ratio of 1:5. The unit is equipped with cardiac monitors, IV pumps, and bedside dialysis capability. The electronic health record system in use is Meditech EMR. The patient population primarily consists of adults. Common diagnoses and treatments include COPD, ARF, DKA, sepsis, and shock. Teamwork and adaptability are valued in this position. Preferred education is a bachelor's degree in nursing, though an associate degree is acceptable. Artificial nails are not permitted as part of the dress code.
