Job Description Job Description Job Title: RN – PACU Job Type: Full-Time Location: Goldsboro, NC Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care while ensuring patient safety and comfort during recovery from anesthesia and surgical procedures. The RN will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess patient needs, implement care plans, and support optimal clinical outcomes. Qualifications Nursing Diploma, ADN/ASN from an accredited school of Nursing (BSN or MSN preferred) Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or ARC Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills Requirements Provide safe, competent, and individualized patient care using the nursing process Monitor patients during post-anesthesia recovery and identify changes in patient condition Administer medications, perform treatments, and document patient care accurately Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure continuity of care Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery expectations, and discharge planning Maintain patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance standards Support unit goals, professional development, and quality improvement initiatives Perform point-of-care testing and follow established clinical policies and procedures Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Retirement savings plans and financial wellness resources Tuition assistance and professional development support Paid time off and leave programs Shift differentials for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Relocation assistance based on distance (2-year commitment) Commitment and retention incentive programs Additional pay-in-lieu-of-benefits option for eligible team members Supportive team environment focused on professional growth and patient-centered care Evening: $3.30/hr Night: $6.00/hr Weekend: $10.00/hr Holiday: 50% extra on base rate Specialty differential (OR, ER, ICU): $2.00/hr Company Description LanceSoft is rated as one of the largest staffing firms in the US by SIA.
