Job Description TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a
board-certified Family Medicine physician to serve as core faculty
for a Family Medicine Residency Program. This is a unique
opportunity to help educate and prepare community-based physicians
to care for rural populations while also providing outpatient care
in a hospital-owned practice setting. We are looking for a skilled
and experienced physician who is committed to providing
outstanding, compassionate care to all patients. Position
Highlights: Responsible for supervising and teaching residents
Strong emphasis on teaching and patient care in both inpatient and
outpatient settings, with opportunities to develop administrative
skills 70/30 preceptor-to-clinical workload Hospital rotation
required 1–2 weeks every 6 to 8 weeks Daily outpatient volume of
20–25 while in clinic Wide scope of services offered across
multiple specialties, including General Surgery, OB/GYN,
Orthopedics, Primary Care, and Urology Candidate Requirements:
Board-certified in Family Medicine Inpatient and outpatient
experience required Comfortable performing joint injections,
dermatology procedures, and OMT Recent graduates encouraged to

seeking an experienced, Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician
(MD or DO) to join a Family Medicine Residency Program as Core
Faculty at a community-based teaching hospital in North Carolina.
This role is ideal for physicians who are passionate about medical
education, resident mentorship, and full-spectrum family medicine,
and who bring established inpatient and outpatient experience to an
academic setting. This position combines resident teaching and
precepting with an outpatient continuity clinic, allowing
physicians to meaningfully impact the next generation of providers
while maintaining active clinical practice in a supportive,
mission-driven environment focused on rural and underserved care.
Position Overview Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Specialty: Family
Medicine Role: Core Faculty – Family Medicine Residency Candidate
Type: MD or DO Visa Sponsorship: Not available (no J-1 or H-1)
Schedule & Workload Teaching / Preceptorship: ~70% Clinical
Practice: ~30% (outpatient primary care) Inpatient / Backup
Rotation: 1–2 weeks every 6–8 weeks Family Medicine inpatient
service including pediatrics and newborn care Daily Outpatient

Qualifications Experience is required for this role.
Board-Certified in Family Medicine (MD or DO) Demonstrated
experience in both inpatient and outpatient family medicine
Comfortable performing joint injections, dermatologic procedures,

and mentorship Obstetrics experience welcomed but not required
