Job Description:
Genesis HealthCare, a leader in rehabilitation and skilled
nursing services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered
Nurse Supervisor, RN, to oversee nursing operations within our
healthcare facility. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible
for maintaining the highest standards of care, supervising nursing
staff, and ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal
regulations related to patient care. As a vital part of our
commitment to excellence, you will lead efforts to enhance patient
outcomes and uphold our reputation as a premier provider of
post-acute and long-term care. Supervise and manage nursing staff
performance, ensuring adherence to facility policies and
procedures. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Ensure
compliance with all health care regulations and standards. Provide
direct care as needed and respond to patient emergencies, ensuring
a swift and appropriate response. Conduct training sessions and
onboarding for new nursing staff members. Monitor and optimize
staff scheduling to maintain patient care standards while ensuring
operational efficiency. Participate in patient and family
counseling and education. Conduct regular performance evaluations
and support professional development of nursing staff. Strong
leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and
interpersonal abilities Advanced knowledge of healthcare
regulations and safety standards Proficient in using healthcare
software and systems Ability to handle high-stress situations with
professionalism Aptitude for problem-solving and decision-making

401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
certification preferred
