Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Jacksonville, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,128 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 1 year of clinical experience License: Compact state RN license or NC RN license Certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS (within last 6 months), CPI (must have before start) Must-Have: Meditech experience preferred; will teach onsite if needed. Description: Candidates will be reviewed and interviewed by the manager. Must include requested time off in the submittal. No requested time off inclusive of holidays will be honored. Local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered. Three 12-hour night shifts are required. Weekend shifts are required. On-call shifts are not required. Must be willing to float to other units if needed. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing is required. Provides direct care to obstetrical patients. Responsible for patient assessment and medication administration. Carries out providers' orders, evaluates their effects, and documents provided care. Communicates effectively with the care team. Provides care in adherence to all policies and accreditation standards. Patient ratios may vary from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on the stage of labor. Experience in high-risk Antepartum, LDRP, and Mother/Baby care is preferred. Candidates should be familiar with external fetal heart monitoring. Experience with neonatal resuscitation and sterile vaginal exams is required. Assists with vaginal and cesarean deliveries. Knowledge of managing postpartum hemorrhage and pregnancy-induced hypertension is essential. Must be able to perform tasks such as IV insertion and starting infusion pumps. Experience with medication administration protocols such as magnesium sulfate therapy and insulin drips is needed. Daily census includes approximately 5 patients with an average of 14 visits per day. Unit consists of 10 beds. Interdisciplinary support is available, including respiratory services and pharmacy. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS
