What You Need to Succeed: Minimum of 12 months of relevant clinical experience in urgent or acute care settings Proficiency in Epic EMR system for documentation and patient management Board certification via NCCPA for PAs or appropriate certification for NPs (Family NP required) Valid licensure, BLS, NC DEA licenses Ability to independently manage adult and pediatric patients (6 months) Strong soft skills to facilitate effective communication with support staff and patients Capable of handling high patient volumes while maintaining professionalism and empathy Comfortable working without supervision, as the facility provides a dedicated supervising physician Additional Skills That Are a Plus: Experience with procedures such as I&D, lac repair, ear irrigation, and other minor interventions Flexibility with scheduling and multiple site coverage within a 60-mile radius Prior experience with Epic EMR training or familiarity Ability to quickly adapt to fast-paced urgent care environments Preferred Education & Experience: Graduate of an accredited PA or Nurse Practitioner program At least 12 months of urgent or acute care experience Board-certified with active licensing and certifications Other Requirements: Credentialing through the agency, including Medicare enrollment processing Willingness to participate in mandatory clinical screening, EMR training, and onboarding sessions, including scheduled Wednesdays No travel or lodging reimbursement; support for mileage within a 60-mile radius of residence preferred No call requirement or supervision necessary beyond the facility’s supervision model Must pass a clinical screening and complete EMR training prior to solo shifts This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $1.00, along with comprehensive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, medical coverage, referral bonuses, paid sick time, licensure and certification reimbursements, and ongoing support from our dedicated team.
