seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians for an urgent locum tenens
assignment at a newly renovated emergency department in
Kenansville, North Carolina . This opportunity offers a flexible
August schedule for EM-boarded or EM-experienced IM/FM physicians
to provide high-quality coverage in a well-supported, fast-paced
rural hospital setting. The facility features a newly expanded
minor emergency wing and a collaborative care team backed by EPIC

Shift Availability Day Shifts: 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM August 1, 2, 3, 4
Night Shifts: 7:30 PM – 7:30 AM August 1, 5, 6, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19,
20, 21 Shift Type: Day & Night Coverage | Flexible Block Scheduling
Facility Overview Annual ED Volume: ~27,000 visits/year (Approx.
80/day) Average Admissions: 11/day Inpatient Census: 47 Acute Beds
Fast Track: Operational 12 hours/day in Minor Emergency Section
Candidate Requirements Board Certification: ABEM preferred; IM/FM
accepted with proven EM experience Licensure: Active North Carolina
Medical License & Unrestricted DEA Certifications (IM/FM only):
ACLS, ATLS, PALS – no exceptions Experience: Must be proficient in
