Physician Assistant - Geriatrics Fayetteville, North CarolinaKey Candidate Requirements

• Licensure: Must be a PA licensed in North Carolina
• Experience: Minimum prior clinical experience required; fresh graduates not accepted
• Certifications: Current BLS/ACLS required
• Availability: Full-time, participation in on-call rotation
• Visa Status: PERM only; no locums or visa candidates

• Collaborate with PACE physicians to deliver high-quality primary care to geriatric patients
• Perform initial, semi-annual, annual, and as-needed participant assessments
• Develop individualized care plans within the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) framework
• Manage acute illnesses and chronic conditions
• Provide preventive care (screenings, immunizations, monitoring)
• Prescribe medications and therapies appropriately
• Refer patients to specialists when needed
• Participate in discharge planning and transitions of care
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and health management
• Contribute to development of clinical policies, procedures, and care standards
• Participate in staff education, training, and IDT meetings
• Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory and organizational policies
