• Location: Burlington & Mebane, North Carolina

• Practice Setting: Float between Burlington and Mebane locations throughout the week

Availability Requirements

• Shift Options:
  • 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Call Schedule: 1-2 times per week
• Weekend Call: Occasional 24-hour weekend call
• Call Response Time: 30 minutes

License Requirements

• North Carolina Medical License Required (or ability to obtain)

Certifications & Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Case Logs Required
• Must be proficient in:
  • Spinals
  • Regional Blocks
  • Epidurals

Clinical Skills & Case MixBurlington Site

• General Surgery
• Vascular Surgery
• Neurosurgery
• OB/GYN ( 1,000 deliveries annually)
• Urology
• No cardiac cases
• No complex pediatric cases

Mebane Site

• Healthy Pediatric Dental Cases
• Pediatric ENT (typically ages 1+)
• Adult ENT
• Cataracts
• Orthopedics (no total joints)
• Endoscopy

Practice Details

• Supervision Model: Yes
• Care Team Ratio: 1 Physician supervising up to 4 CRNAs

Burlington Staffing

• 4 Anesthesiologists
• 15 CRNAs per day
• 14 Anesthesia Sites
• Primary call coverage handled at Burlington

Mebane Staffing

• 1 Anesthesiologist
• 3 CRNAs per day
• 3 Anesthesia Sites

EMR

• Epic

Ideal Candidate

• Comfortable working across multiple locations
• Strong regional anesthesia skill set
• Experience with OB, neuro, vascular, and pediatric anesthesia cases
• Comfortable in a medical direction model with a 4:1 supervision ratio
