We are located in downtown Wilson just across from the beautiful new soon to open Centro apartments and a block from the famous Whirlygig Park. Wilson provides a great environment and is much more affordable than Raleigh or Durham. Word on the street is the Carolina Mudcats will be announcing they are moving to Wilson and with it a brand new multi-purpose stadium will be built beside Whirlygig park just a couple of blocks from our location. What a great place to work and live! Be a part of it and enjoy a lively friendly environment. Carolina Cheese Co. isn't a cheese company at all. It's a friendly, southern style deli and coffee shop making great sandwiches, salads, soups, desserts and coffee beverages for our wonderful customers. You will not be a number here. You will be part of our growing business with new locations planned. Opportunity to become kitchen lead and creative chef for a properly motivated and talented person who has an interest in being great at what they do and can demonstrate talent in the kitchen. Primarily we need someone who can build on our current menu and create an exciting night time deli style menu. Must provide excellent customer service, great attention to detail with pride in your work and interact pleasantly with customers. You will grill, slice meats and cheeses, build sandwiches, prepare salads, make soups, prep for our caterings, stock and clean work areas and operate a point of sale system as needed. Help us grow and you will grow with us! Locally owned. Bonus points if you have experience overseeing a team, experience batch making foods for retail sale and have barista experience to share with our team.
