Job Description Job Description 41 North Coffee Co in Wendell, NC is looking for one cook/chef to join our 26 person strong team. We are located on 41 N Main St. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and hard-working. Clean and organized. Able to work independently and as part of a team. We are a small family business looking to continue to grow our kitchen. Responsibilities Work as a team player to complete assigned daily tasks Ability to be a self motivated individual adding value to the team Follow prep lists and recipes accurately Ability to work safely and efficiently while performing knife tasks Daily setting up/breakdown/cleanliness of station and respected kitchen areas Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and cleanliness . Breaking down and deep cleaning of kichen equipment including the hood Proper labeling/storing/dating of all food items in all areas of the restaurant Oversees their designated station and holds responsibility for all items produced. Collaborates with fellow BOH staff to ensure the food quality and standards are met assuring consistency across the board Communicate with FOH to endure food is up to standards and being served hot. Great communication and ability to keep people informed of supplies Performs other duties assigned by supervisor/managers Attention to detail and pride in the food you put out.
