sterilize, unload & assemble components & equipment in an aseptic
environment. Supply Filling & Formulation teams at the right rate,
the right time & consistent with business/regulatory needs.
Relationships Reports to Shift Manager. Essential Functions Perform
aseptic activities including, but not limited to, processing
components, parts & assemblies, troubleshooting equipment, aiding
in setup & teardown of equipmentClean, prepare, wrap, assemble &
sterilize production components & partsCheck & adjust mechanical
assemblies critical to the accurate & aseptic filling of
insulinInspect & process components necessary for the formulation
of insulin within an aseptic environmentOperate, monitor & control
equipment, systems & processesAchieve production goalsCross train &
become proficient in the setup & operation of all filling
operationsMaintain aseptic areas & perform sanitizations &
environmental monitoringParticipate actively in & support event
responseReview, revise & author SOP’s & other documents as
requiredAssist during equipment maintenance including restoration
of lost function, predictive & preventative
maintenanceRecord/review production data in BPR & associated
formsFollow all safety & environmental requirements in the
performance of dutiesOther accountabilities, as assigned Physical
Requirements Moves equipment &/or supplies weighing up to 33
pounds within the facility using various body positions. Routinely
operates & inspects manufacturing equipment using hands. Strap &
unstrap pallets using hands. Must be able to be on your feet for up
to a 12-hour shift. May require corrected vision to 20/20 or 20/25
based on role. May require color vision based on role. Occasionally
ascends/descends a ladder. May be required to work at elevated
heights. Occasionally works around odorous &/or hazardous
materials. May be required to wear latex gloves. May perform
critical job functions in extremely cold work environments
depending on site. May position oneself within confined spaces for
inspection if required of the role. Ability to work in loud noise
environments with hearing protection. May be required to secure a
motorized vehicle license & operate a motorized vehicle based on
the role. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent
requiredMinimum of six (6) months manufacturing experience required
(Requirement may be waived with military experience, a
BioWorks/BioBlend certification or equivalent from an accredited
college, or a current Novo Nordisk contractor that has 3 months of
demonstrated performance in the relevant area)Experience working in
an FDA regulated environment preferredAseptic processing experience
preferredAbility to read, write & understand complicated product
documentation & standard operating procedures with attention to
