Job Description:
Wilson Medical CenterTheMedical Assistant works alongside and
assists Providers in the treatment ofpatients, preparing and
documenting information for the patient's visitincluding obtaining
vitals, medical history and other pertinent informationfrom the
patient. This position performsroutine Clinic Office functions
including paperwork, phones, and authorizationsas needed.Job
Requirements:* High school diploma or equivalent required* Must be
Credentialed Medical Assistant (Certified or Registered).* BLS
certification required or must be obtained during first week of
hire.* Must have ability to multi-task and prioritize.* Must be
detail oriented.* Must have strong communications skills, both
verbal and written.* Must be proficient with data entry and medical
terminology.* 1-2 years prior clinic experience preferred.* Must be
able to maintain strict confidentiality.Equal opportunity and
