Manufacturing Engineering organization is looking for a motivated
individual to be a Project Engineer, who ensures the successful
execution of Manufacturing Engineering projects from inception,
through deployment in the factory, as well as long-term

bids and crafting attractive proposals.This is a multi-faceted role
requiring versatility across a variety of tasks in a highly
collaborative environment. The role requires working closely with
engineers and leaders, at various locations around the globe, to
ensure project success. Organizationally, the role reports to a
Manufacturing Engineering Manager in the Avionics Kidde Fire
Protection Systems organization.
Directs all phases of programs from inception through
Oversees and coordinates the administrative and operational
aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines.
Develops project plans, schedules and budgets, tracks progress,
resolves problems, develops solutions, and forecasts project
Position focusses on supplier product evaluation, supplier
capability evaluation and drives outsource project initiatives, and
insource project initiatives.
Coordinates with other functional organizations. Identifies and
addresses project problems, analyzes data gathered, and develops
solutions and recommendations to solve problems, meet

methods of proceeding to optimize performance and increase
efficiency of work.
Maintains and presents plans and progress reports relating to
business aspects of the project(s) to track progress and ensure
that established targets are met.
Identifies and addresses project problems and recommends

Facilitates project tasks with the various functional
organizations to ensure alignment with overall project

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR
Advance degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR
In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder
- Science, Technology, Engineering or Math degree required
The ideal candidate will have prior project leadership
ofmultidiscipline engineering teams, managing customer

- Experience with Continuous Improvement processes
