Maintenance Refrigeration Operator

The Maintenance Refrigeration Operator will be responsible for the
daily monitoring and maintenance of all Freon and ammonia based
refrigeration systems including preventative maintenance, repair
and reconstruction of all refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
+ Operate/monitor the ammonia refrigeration system and monitoring
device and Process Safety Management documentation, work
+ Dismantle malfunctioning systems and test components. Adjust or
replace worn or defective mechanisms and parts, and re-assemble
+ Test lines, components and connections for leaks.
+ Interpret and understand blue prints and schematics Must be able
to wear and maintain all safety equipment and breathing
+ Requires rotating weekends and being on-call as needed.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to
perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed
below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Three to five years related experience
and/or training. Operator I certification preferred, but not
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as
safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure
manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or
employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such
as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages,
area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic
algebra and geometry.
REASONING: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a
variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited
standardization exits. Ability to interpret a variety of
instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule

required to use hands to finger, handle, grasp, or feel;
substantial movements (motion) of the wrists, hands, and/or
fingers; reaching and pulling with hands and arms. The employee is
required to stand for sustained periods of time; balancing is
required. Frequent walking is required. The employee must
frequently lift up to 50 pounds; Exerting up to 100 pounds of force
occasionally. Occasional pushing of 25 pounds or more, and pushing
up to 100 pounds of force is required. Specific vision abilities
