cwilson@butler.com JOB DESCRIPTION Applies principles and theories
of electronics, electrical circuitry, engineering mathematics,
electronic and electrical testing to support manufacturing test
engineering initiatives. Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for
supporting legacy test stations, both hardware and software that
are being utilized in a production environment or at service
centers. Perform root cause analysis on Production failuresEvaluate
test equipment and infrastructure to develop a Preventive
Maintenance program across the factory.Preform audits of test
equipment and infrastructure to create test equipment documentation
for the purposes of outlining calibration requirements.Under
minimal supervision, performs a variety of highly complex technical
tasks which require a substantial understanding of engineering
techniques and all technical objectives.Works on assignments
requiring considerable judgment and initiativePerform as member of
a technical team utilizing effective communication skills, and
interaction with higher level leadership and customers. Actively
promotes team decision-makingUtilizes automated test or design
software. Highly proficient at data analysis using required
software tools.Is viewed as a technical resource to others.Conducts
engineering tests and analyzes data to support recommended design
changes when applicable.Works from minimal documentation, written
or verbal instructions, schematics, rough sketches, diagrams,
layouts and plans often requiring interpretation.Applies
significant electronic theory to configure, model, layout,
prototype, build, test, troubleshoot, determine solutions and
modify electronic product for engineering efforts applicable to the
department or program charter. May assist engineers with design and
development of new processes and/or products. Basic
QualificationsHave good communication, documentation, and
collaboration/teamwork skills Desired SkillsHave domain knowledge
of avionics productsProgramming experience (Turbo Atlas, C#,
LabView, Test Stand) Experience and skillsets in developing
Preventive Maintenance programs and calibration will be beneficial.
US Citizen and US Person candidates permitted All leased labor are
subject to a 10 panel drug test. The FAA Drug & Alcohol program is
a special program requiring an additional 5-panel drug screen with
training prior to starting their assignment.
