FM/IM Coverage Needed in Wilson, NC!

Job Description:

An inpatient treatment center in Wilson, NC is looking for Family Medicine/Internal Medicine coverage in June. The schedule is 8a-4:30p with call from home approx. 1 week per month. Are you interested?

Start Date: As soon as May, but mostly needed for June
Length of contracts: 3 mo or 6 mo
Daily Work schedule - 8a-4:30p, with 30 min lunch break
IM or FM
100% inpatient; no procedures required.
Daily Census - MD responsible for up to 50 chronic care residents, max 2 admissions per week
On call from home with pager - approximately 1 week per month, can be more if desired.
Scope of patients - chronic care nursing home residents with physical and/or behavioral needs
- BLS required.
- EMR - none, paper charts but computer/office/email and acces to lab/xray, vitals and meds via computer
