more---Position Summary:Under the general supervision of the
Radiology Services Director and Supervisor, and direct supervision
of the CT/MRI Lead Technologist, and according to established
policies and procedures, performs diagnostic CAT Scan and MRI
examinations and procedures, rotating within CT/MRI as required.
Work is of a confidential nature. -Minimum Education -Associate's
degree - Required -Required SkillsThe employee must have the
ability to understand, communicate and react effectively to the
unique needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and
geriatric patients. -As least one year of experience as an MRI
Technologist is preferred.Additional CAT Scan experience is also
preferred. -Required LicensesRadiologic Technologist and
Technician- Must be certified and in good standing in MRI or
certification eligible with completion of a formal training program
in MRI Imaging is required.- Certification eligible employees must
attain certification status within first 12 months of
employment.OR- An Associate degree in Radiologic Science (or
equivalent) is required.- Must be ARRT Registered Radiologic
technologist in good standing.- Must also be certified and in good
standing in CAT Scan or certification eligible with completion of a
formal training program in CAT Scan Imaging.- Certification
eligible employees must attain registry status within first 12
months of employment. -BLS required, or obtained during first week
