PamlicoAir, a fast-growing Manufacturing organization, is looking for a Plant Controller. Primary areas of responsibility include responsibility for financial accounting, processes and reporting. Cost Accounting experience is a plus. This position will be located in Wilson, NC. If you are industrious, looking for a place to call home and ready to grow with us we would love to see your qualifications!This position will report to the company CEO and among other duties, will manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Payroll and Cost Accounting. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances. Support month-end and year-end close process. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Interface with outside audit firms(s), banks and lessors, casualty/liability insurance agent(s), credit card companies, and collection agencies.If you have prior experience with General Finance and Job Costing in a Manufacturing Environment and would love the opportunity to grow with us then this position may be right for you!
