Job Description:
Travel Nurse Across America (TNAA) is seeking experienced
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurses to join our dedicated
team to provide compassionate, high-quality care for young patients
while embracing a unique opportunity to travel across the USA. Our
PICU Nurses play a critical role in managing the health
complications of critically ill children, ensuring emotional
support for their families, and maintaining high standards of
nursing care tailored to individual needs. This role is designed
for those who have a passion for pediatric care and a desire to
explore diverse healthcare settings while advancing professionally.
Provide high-quality nursing care for critically ill children in
PICU settings. Assess patients' conditions and implement
appropriate nursing interventions. Work collaboratively with
physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to
develop care plans. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment
plans as necessary. Educate and support patients’ families
regarding conditions and home-care strategies. Maintain up-to-date
records of patients’ health. Adhere to hygiene standards and
infection control measures. Stay current with advancements in
pediatric healthcare and intensive care treatments. Strong ICU or
PICU nursing skills. Excellent decision-making and problem-solving
abilities. Compassionate communicator with empathy for children and
families. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and
effectively. Adaptability to various clinical environments. Medical
Insurance Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Critical Care
Registered Nurse (CCRN) - Pediatric certification preferred but not
required.
